Important information — San Mamés Stadium

✓ Arrival time: Gates open 90 min before kick-off. The metro station can get very crowded 60 min before derbies.

✓ Bilbao weather tip: Bilbao is famously rainy. The metro exits directly into the stadium concourse, so you can reach your seat without going outside.

✓ Documentation required: Ticket + valid photo ID. Athletic Club may verify ticket ownership at the gates.

✓ Prohibited items: No large bags, professional cameras or drones. No cloakrooms available on site.
