PEC Zwolle Draw 1-1 at FC Utrecht Before TOP Oss Cup Tie

PEC Zwolle earned a point away to FC Utrecht on Saturday, 24 October, drawing 1-1 in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Elias Sørensen put the visitors ahead in the 72nd minute, but FC Utrecht equalised through Sem van Duijn in stoppage time.

The result followed PEC Zwolle’s 4-1 home victory over Go Ahead Eagles in the IJsselderby on 18 October. The club had ended its cooperation with head coach Henry van der Vegt earlier in the month, with Dennis van der Ree and Maikel van der Werff taking charge of training and matchday coaching duties during the transition.

The next fixture is already confirmed for Wednesday, 28 October, when PEC Zwolle host TOP Oss at the MAC3PARK stadion. The first-round tie in the Eurojackpot KNVB Beker kicks off at 20:00. It is the earliest scheduled match on the club’s calendar following the draw in Utrecht.
