CD Leganés Draw with Mallorca Before Copa del Rey Tie

CD Leganés drew 1-1 with RCD Mallorca on Saturday, October 24, in LaLiga Hypermotion. Zito Luvumbo put Mallorca ahead before Álex Millán equalised in the second half, giving the club a point in Luis Carrión’s first match as head coach.

Carrión was appointed on October 18 on a contract running until the end of the season. His first fixture produced a draw after four consecutive league defeats, but the immediate focus now shifts to the cup.

The next confirmed match is against Trival Valderas on Wednesday, October 28, at 20:00 in the first round of the Copa del Rey. Although Trival Valderas will be the designated home team, the match will be played at Ontime Butarque after an agreement between the clubs.
