Lincoln City head to Watford after Birmingham defeat

Lincoln City will return to EFL Championship action on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, when they visit Watford at Vicarage Road. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:45pm.

The Imps’ most recent fixture ended in a 3-1 home defeat to Birmingham City on Saturday, 31 October. The result came in the EFL Championship at the LNER Stadium, leaving Lincoln City with a quick opportunity to respond in midweek.

Watford also played on 31 October, beating Norwich City 3-2 away from home. That makes the trip to Vicarage Road the earliest confirmed fixture on Lincoln City’s calendar, ahead of the away match against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, 7 November.

Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw remain Lincoln City’s joint head coaches after taking charge in May 2026. The pair previously worked as assistant head coaches during the club’s League One title-winning campaign and now oversee the team’s first season back in the second tier.
