Andrea Bocelli’s Indonesia Dates Remain Listed as Borobudur Concert Faces Calls for Cancellation

Andrea Bocelli’s most recent confirmed performance took place on October 17, 2026, at the Starmus VIII opening concert in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The “Symphony of Stars” event combined music with the festival’s medal ceremony and featured Andrea Bocelli alongside Sarah Brightman and Brian May.

The next officially listed date is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Indonesia. The concert is part of the Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour and is currently listed on both Andrea Bocelli’s official tour calendar and the event’s ticketing website.

However, the Indonesia performances face political and administrative uncertainty. Indonesia’s Ulema Council has called for the Borobudur and Jakarta concerts to be cancelled, while Central Java police have stated that no cancellation or permit withdrawal had been confirmed. As of October 19, 2026, both dates remain publicly listed, but fans should check the organiser’s latest notice before making travel arrangements.

The Jakarta concert is currently scheduled for November 3, 2026, at Jakarta International Expo. Fans looking to attend Andrea Bocelli’s confirmed international shows can buy Tickets for upcoming dates through infotickets.com, subject to venue and organiser updates.
