How to get to Wembley Stadium

  • Tube 🚇

    Metropolitan & Jubilee lines: Wembley Park — 5 min walk up Olympic Way.

    Bakerloo line: Wembley Central — 15 min walk.

    Note: Wembley Park gets extremely crowded after large events — allow extra time for the return.

  • Train 🚆

    Chiltern Railways from London Marylebone: Wembley Stadium station — right at the ground (~8 min, very convenient).

    London Overground to Wembley Central — 15 min walk to the stadium.

  • Bus 🚌

    Lines 18, 83, 92, 182, 204, 223, 224, 245, 297 serve the Wembley area.

    Special event buses run from central London for England matches and major cup finals — check TfL for matchday routes.

  • Car / Taxi 🚕

    Olympic Way is pedestrianised on all event days. Very limited public parking near the stadium.

    Taxi/Uber drop-off on Engineers Way or Wembley Hill Road. Plan well in advance — roads are closed for hours before and after kick-off.

Important information — Wembley Stadium

✓ Arrival time: Gates open 90 min before kick-off. Wembley Park station gets extremely crowded — arrive at least 60 min before and expect 20–30 min queues at peak times.

✓ Events at Wembley: Hosts England internationals, FA Cup and EFL Cup Finals, NFL games, and major concerts. Gate and access info varies by event — check your ticket carefully.

✓ Documentation required: Ticket (printed or digital) + valid photo ID. Wembley Stadium verifies ticket ownership at all turnstiles.

✓ Prohibited items: No bags larger than 35×20×20cm, no selfie sticks, no professional cameras or drones. No cloakrooms — pack light.

✓ Finding your seat: Wembley is divided into Lower, Club and Upper tiers around the entire bowl. Follow the block and row on your ticket — stewards stationed throughout.
