    From Reggio Mediopadana AV station: Bus 5 → stop Via Duo (~15 min).

    From A1 Milan–Bologna motorway: exit «Reggio Emilia» and follow signs for MAPEI Stadium.

    Large free and paid car parks on site.

    Bonus: the I Petali shopping mall is inside the stadium complex — food court and restaurants open on matchdays.

Important information — MAPEI Stadium

✓ Arrival time: Gates open 90 min before kick-off. The Reggio Stadio train is the most convenient option — aim to be at the platform 65 min before kick-off.

✓ Italy's first private stadium: Built in 1995, modelled on English grounds with stands close to the pitch. Excellent sightlines and a compact, intense atmosphere.

✓ The moat — and the fishing: A water-filled moat surrounds the pitch. Water flows from a local river, and fans have genuinely been seen fishing from the stands mid-match — a uniquely Italian matchday curiosity.

✓ The stadium is in Reggio Emilia, not Sassuolo: Always travel to Reggio Emilia — not Sassuolo town (18 km away).

✓ Documentation required: Ticket + valid photo ID. Tickets via VivaTicket — buy online in advance. Personalised, non-transferable.

✓ Prohibited items: No large bags, professional cameras or drones. No cloakrooms. The I Petali mall inside the complex is a good pre-match dining option.
