Metallica Return to Sphere on October 22

Metallica’s latest confirmed performance took place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Sphere in Las Vegas, continuing the band’s Life Burns Faster residency. The residency is built around no-repeat weekends, giving each paired run of shows its own setlist.

The next officially confirmed event is on Thursday, October 22, 2026, when Metallica return to Sphere in Las Vegas. The following performance is scheduled for October 24, with additional dates at the venue continuing through October 31 before the residency resumes in November and 2027.

For fans planning a Las Vegas trip, the Sphere shows offer a chance to see Metallica in a purpose-built immersive venue rather than a traditional stadium or arena. The band’s official schedule also lists later performances at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on November 19 and 21.
