Men´s Nations League: 2026/27 league phase begins on 24 September

The 2026/27 UEFA Nations League is approaching its opening round, with the league phase scheduled to begin on Thursday, 24 September 2026. The first fixture is Andorra against Malta in League D, while the opening matchday also includes Netherlands versus Germany, Norway versus Denmark and Portugal versus Wales.

The previous edition concluded on 8 June 2025, when Portugal defeated Spain 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw after extra time in the final at Munich Football Arena. Portugal became the first nation to win the UEFA Nations League twice.

The 2026/27 league phase will run through 17 November, with six matchdays scheduled between September and November. The finals tournament is set for 9–13 June 2027, while the quarter-finals and promotion or relegation play-offs are scheduled for March 2027.
