U2 are taking their new stadium show to Latin America first. The band announced "Carnaval De Luz Presents: The Greatest Show On Earth" on October 16, 2026, and the general sale for the opening leg starts this week: Thursday, October 22 in São Paulo and Buenos Aires, and Friday, October 23 in Mexico City.
The tour
It is U2's first stadium tour since 2019, built around their 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, due on November 13, 2026. Beck joins as support on the Latin American dates. The first six shows are:
- February 23 and 26, 2027: Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City
- March 10 and 12, 2027: Estádio MorumBIS, São Paulo
- March 23 and 25, 2027: Estadio River Plate, Buenos Aires
Dates in Europe and North America are expected in the coming weeks, and plans are under way for shows in Ireland to mark the band's 50th anniversary.
Presales and general sale
U2.com subscribers had first access: the Feedback presale opened on October 19 and The Hype presale on October 20, both at 10am local time. Bank presales followed on October 21 in São Paulo, for Santander customers through Ticketmaster Brasil, and in Buenos Aires, for Santander Visa cardholders through All Access. Mexico City has a Ticketmaster artist presale on October 22 at 10am for fans who registered before the October 18 deadline.
The general sale opens at 10am local time on October 22 for São Paulo and Buenos Aires, and on October 23 for Mexico City.
Prices and where to buy
Buenos Aires prices, before service fees, range from ARS 120,000 for General alta Sívori to ARS 700,000 for the Red Zone. Gold Circle is ARS 500,000, front field ARS 355,000 and general field ARS 160,000. Tickets there are sold through All Access. In São Paulo the sale runs on Ticketmaster Brasil and at official box offices, with a limit of four tickets per CPF, including a maximum of two half-price tickets. Mexico City tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.
Tips for fans
Check the local time for your city: the sale opens at 10am in each market, not at the same moment everywhere. In São Paulo, have your CPF ready and remember that half-price tickets count towards the four-ticket limit. In Buenos Aires, compare zones carefully, as the gap between the cheapest and most expensive tickets is large.
With only two nights per city and the album still weeks away, this first leg sets the tone for everything U2 announce next.
