Newcastle United have published the full sales timetable for the midweek visit of Manchester United to St James' Park. The Premier League game is on Wednesday, December 2, with an 8.15pm kick-off, and the process starts with a ballot for Mags Members in just over a week.
The timetable
- Monday, November 2, 12 noon: Mags Member ballot opens.
- Tuesday, November 3, 12 noon: ballot closes.
- Wednesday, November 4, before 11am: successful applicants are notified.
- Wednesday, November 4, 12 noon: seat selection opens for ballot winners.
- Friday, November 6, 12 noon: seat selection closes.
- Friday, November 6, 4pm: season ticket holder forwarding and resale opens.
- Monday, November 9, 10am: Mags Member Sale opens.
How it works
The ballot is the first step. Members enter during the 24-hour window, and those drawn get a fixed period to choose their seats. Once that closes, season ticket holders who cannot attend can forward or resell their seats, and anything left is offered in the Mags Member Sale the following Monday. Newcastle have not listed prices for the game on the on-sale page, so the cost of a seat will only be visible once the sale is open.
This is the same pattern the club has used for its other autumn home games, including Arsenal on November 21, whose member sale opens on Monday, October 26.
How to buy
All phases run through Newcastle United's official ticketing website, and a Mags Membership is needed to take part in the ballot and the member sale. Fans exploring other options can also check current listings for Newcastle vs Manchester United tickets on Infotickets.
Plan ahead
The ballot window is short, opening and closing at midday across two days, and the notification email lands before 11am on the Wednesday. If you win, seat selection closes on Friday lunchtime, so set reminders for each step rather than relying on catching the emails in time.
Members who also want the Arsenal game should note the overlap: that member sale opens on October 26, a week before the United ballot begins.
