Silverstone has opened the doors for next summer. Tickets for the 2027 Formula 1 British Grand Prix went on general sale on September 24, and the circuit's event page now shows them as on sale for the weekend of July 1 to 4, 2027.
The British Grand Prix is one of the best-attended races on the calendar, and 2027 comes with two additions to the programme. Silverstone has confirmed that the weekend will run to the F1 Sprint format, which adds a shorter race on Saturday, and that Robbie Williams will play the opening concert.
The general sale followed a carefully ordered series of presales. Hospitality opened first, with an American Express presale on September 8 and all hospitality available to everyone from September 10. Silverstone Racing Club members came next: Full Circuit members had a 48-hour priority sale from September 16, and Grid members a 24-hour window from September 17. American Express cardholders had their own 48-hour presale for race tickets from September 21, fans who had booked official camping or glamping could buy from September 23, and the general sale opened the following day.
Tickets are sold on Silverstone's official website and cover general admission, a range of grandstands and enclosures, and hospitality. One thing regular visitors already know: Silverstone releases its tickets in price tiers, so the cost of the same seat rises as each tier sells through. You can also browse current Formula 1 tickets on Infotickets.
Three suggestions if you are buying now. Do not wait for a cheaper moment, because the tiered pricing only moves in one direction. If you want a grandstand, decide between a view of a fast corner and a view of the pit straight before you look at the map, since the two give very different days. And book accommodation or camping at the same time as your ticket: rooms within reach of the circuit are gone months ahead, and official campsites are tied to the same booking system.
A Sprint weekend means competitive track action on all three main days instead of two. For the price of a weekend ticket, that is more racing than Silverstone has offered before.
