Fontaines D.C. are heading back to North America with their biggest rooms yet. The Dublin band have announced a 19-date tour for 2027, split across spring and autumn, and tickets go on general sale this Friday, October 9.

The tour supports their new album, Dopamine Chamber, which is released on October 16. The spring leg runs from April 23 to May 12 and includes MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, the Fox Theatre in Detroit, The Salt Shed in Chicago, The Armory in Minneapolis and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, with Westside Cowboy as support. The band return for a second leg from September 24 to October 15, with Iceage opening. That run steps up in size, taking in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Forest Hills Stadium in New York, Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, before closing at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

There are three chances to buy. The artist presale opens on Tuesday, October 6 at 10am local time, for fans who registered through the band before the sign-up closed on Monday evening. A Live Nation presale follows on Thursday, October 8, from 10am to 10pm local time, and it is open to anyone with a free Live Nation All Access membership. The general sale starts on Friday, October 9 at 10am local time.

All tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. No price list has been published ahead of the sale.

A few practical points. If you missed the artist presale registration, the Live Nation presale on Thursday is your best early option, and the membership takes a minute to set up, so do it before Thursday morning. Sales open at 10am in each venue's own time zone, which means East Coast shows go first and West Coast shows three hours later. And if your nearest spring date sells out, look at the autumn leg: the venues are larger, so there are simply more tickets to go around.

Few guitar bands move from theatres to arenas and amphitheatres within one album cycle. This tour is the clearest sign so far of where Fontaines D.C. now stand.
